#City VS Country ?
Tuesday, June 9, 2009 @ 2:31 AM

What do you think when you hear the words city and country? A city as you can obviously tell, is more developed or would I say, urbanized like Singapore. Whereas, a country, is a more peaceful, slow-paced and I would say a more relaxed place to be in.

Well, as you can see the stark contrast between both two places, what do you think? Which would you prefer? Actually the answer depends on what kind of person you are. A city is a very competitive place, and the standard of living there is obviously high. The competition is strong and people who are "economically-challenged" would definitely not be advised to go there.

As for the country lifestyle , it is more relaxed and the competition there is not that heated. People live a slow-paced life and it is easier to adapt to compared to the city. Maybe based on my analysis of both places, you might think that I am more into the country. But actually I am not.

I would definetly go for a City Lifestyle as that place is more economically developed. Furthermore, the competition there, I feel is good for us. You know, " healthy competition". If you can take stress level well, it won't turn out like the stress level in Singapore's education program now, where winning is not everything, winning is the ONLY thing. If we stay in a place without any stress, our lives would be meaningless. However, if we are willing to go for the city type of lifestyle, we can actually make use of this competition to constantly upgrade ourselves and try t0 be at the top of what we do.

So yes, I would prefer to be a City rat than a Country rat.

i'm like the ringleader,

i call the shots.

i chose to fight,

i command respect -

-when I put on a show.
