Hello people! Its been quite a long time since I have posted. Today I will be posting about tuition. The term "TUITION" is widely adopted by many Singaporean Parents and they have the wrong perception that TUITION = Good Grades. Research has been done though and it is shown that not all students excel or improve under tuition. In fact, students might worsen due to the extra stressfrom tuition homework and assignments. I believe that parents choose tuition because they have no time to coach their children due to workload and coming home late. This is why parents resort to tuition i guess. They however, do not understand what their children are really undergoing, and rather splurge a few hundred dollars on such "Secondary Education". As for me, I was once taking tuition and as expected, it didn't work out that well for me. However, I found out that just revising throughly what the teacher has taught and taking down notes might just be the simplest yet easiest method to excal acadamecially!

The March holidays is over :(
I can't I magine how time passes so quickly. I still remember the time when I was still a newbie in Hwa Chong, hahas. Back then, I was like worried about almost everything. But being a Hwa Chongian has indeed changed me alot. You have to be brave, outstanding, open-minded and also able to cope with your school work and other activities. Like for example, my cca, Npcc, is organizing a swimming course for us as part of LEAPS. NPCC training is on Wednesdays and Fridays and the swimming is on Monday and Thursday! I only have fridays left I guess. FYI, I am really worried about tomorrows swimming lesson. I have no idea how to swim at all, and I think the rest of the cadets are all experienced. Wow I hope the coach spares me.... Anyway, Happy Back To School Day!!!

i'm like the ringleader,

i call the shots.

i chose to fight,

i command respect -

-when I put on a show.
